Goodbye, Africa. Hello, India!

There’s quite a bit of tumbleweed rolling through my blog at the moment. Apologies for the lack of updates but as always it has been difficult to get a decent internet connection and since I’ve been in South Africa I’ve been very busy… travelling can do that to you!

Anyway, my time in Africa has come to an end and in about 30 minutes I will be on my way to the airport to get on a plane to Dubai, then another to Mumbai. Currently quite nervous about going to India alone but I’m trying to be positive and think about how exciting it’s all going to be once I’ve settled in a bit. Next update will be from India and will include a catch-up on my last weeks in Africa 🙂

Until then!

Have a wonderful time in India. Don’t be too nervous as a solo traveler – I was careful and had no problems. Adventure on 🙂

Its like we’re doing the same trip but in reverse! I’m travelling solo in India currently but heading to Africa for a couple of months after Christmas! What are your plans now you’re in India?

Only just arrived today and already the rough plans I had are changing. The hotel I’m staying at is lovely but unfortunately over an hour away from the area of Mumbai I want to see (Fort and Colaba) so hopefully I will be moving to a different place in Colaba tomorrow. Initially planned on staying in Mumbai for 3 days but I’ve just gone and booked a flight to Goa for Sunday and will be staying at an awesome backpacker’s 🙂 From there I’m going to take it easy and travel round the beaches for a week or two then head on down to Cochin for Christmas. How are you enjoying India? Where will you be in Africa?
