True that. When I went home this summer, after a year of living abroad, it was completely strange to be back in America. I had forgotten how to tip. I was mystified by the demographics and could not figure out where all the Arabs were. (There are none, I realized eventually.) I was appalled by the high taxi prices and tiny overpriced apartments. I was amazed by an ocean that is cold and has waves.

    It was amazing.
